  1. Well, I'm glad to see myself in your photo. You shot some details of the cats. I love the first one cuz the composition, the light and the sleeping cat, is great. Great Job!

  2. Your animal portraits capture the personality of each subject, but the photos generally seem a little too grey rather than rich with darks and lights. I know indoor lighting can be hard to work with, so I would suggest burning/dodging with photoshop in the future

  3. Some photos stand out more than others just because the composition in some of them feels more intentional than others. Playing with contrast would strengthen your photos. Cute animals, it looks like you had fun taking these pictures!

  4. The kitten photo at the beginning is especially compelling, I'm really fascinated by your use of soft light there, you really made us feel the light on the subject. I also agree with other critique that you should use a little more contrast in your photos.

  5. I see that you've been pushing yourself to seek out unique perspectives, which makes those photos more interesting. It would have been nice to see you increase your contrast, so that your photos seem more dynamic. Keep challenging yourself to come up with more interesting compositions! I also think it would've been cool to see you play with depth of field in some of your photos!

  6. Nice job making more interesting photos by using the perspective of the shot, as well as the background to add information to the photo! I think you could push that even further in the future. Nice subject matter!

  7. Really liked the close up pictures on the cats and I felt like compostionally the 9th one was very strong and told a story. I would have liked to seen the same with the others but you're definitely on the right track.

  8. The first and ninth images are my favorites - the first has a foggy/veiled effect which I think sets it apart a bit from your typical pet pic, and I agree with Michael about the ninth picture. I think playing with technical things like depth/blur/motion would strengthen your images and really remove them from all the other pictures of pets you'd find anywhere.

  9. I love the effect that the reflection of the glass creates in your first photo. I really liked the profile picture you took of the dog. I think this week you pushed yourself more out of your comfort zone and took pictures with more deliberate intention
