  1. I enjoy how in some of your photos you decided to play with the shadows creating an even greater sense of motion.

  2. Samara, I loved your last three images, though you didn't have a black backdrop you really made Trusler hall work for you. I lived there for a year, but through your lens I was way more interested in it. I like the variety but I'm not seeing panning on here.

  3. Your photos taken in the chapel came out great. Just be careful of too much extreme white because my eye goes directly to that rather than the image as a whole. You captured motion well- especially in your freeze frames- but like Davis said I don't see panning.

  4. I would have liked to see the photos that were in portrait mode in landscape instead as I feel that would have really helped emphasize those photos.

  5. I really like the silhouette element in the first few photos. I think having the light source behind the subject was a cool idea. I think experimentation with composition would really strengthen some of the photos!

  6. I really love the composition of the dancer in the church. I think the last three photos could have been more successful if you would have taken a different perspective. I agree with the previous comments that you could have focused more on panning, or could have had your dancer jump.

  7. Ooooh, those silhouette photos are so rad! Good choice in background and lighting! All your photos have interesting subject matter. The first two photos look just a liiittle bit crooked; a tripod can help with that, or even just a flat surface to place your camera on. :)

  8. I really like the third picture. The composition, body and shadow, was awesome, but it would have been better if you could have make it brighter. And the one that the person throws away a flower would have been better if you could have more contrast to show that motion.
