  1. I thought your photos were interesting and were successfully composed. If I had to nitpick I'd recommend to line up the lines of the floor with the frame or exclude them.

  2. Your photos are incredibly intriguing. The angles you chose are really engaging. The contrast is nice, but some of them could use a little more. The one of the girl on the ground is grainy, as well as the one of the marble-looking texture.

  3. You have some really creative compositions this week! The photo with the girl, while grainy, is very interesting. Some of the photos could benefit from higher contrast and sharper focus.

  4. A higher contrast would have pushed your intriguing images even further.

  5. The playfulness in your 4th image is great, it took me a second to get that she isn't a gymnast. A little push in contrast might take away some of the flatness what comes with excessive neutral greys (or rather, just using dodge on the lighter tones since the darks don't need to be black).

Image 8 has a really clear symmetry that extends past the subject and into the background, which I think is pretty cool, but a little more blur could lessen the noisiness of the tree texture. Image 6 might be my favorite just because I'm so confused as to what this is a picture of.. but it's interesting to look at. It has multiple textures, contrast, a weird composition. Also, in image 2 your use of blur alongside lighting to direct focus is successful.

  6. (You went to a graveyard! How brave is that!) I have to say you have a interesting way to composite your pictures, they are very creative. Since I was banned to write complements, the only thing I can think of is that the first photo can be better if you move the frame bit rightward and cover up the edge of the gravestone cause it is a bit tilted.

  7. I'd really like to point out that your fourth image is one of the most intentional I've seen in this class. I see a lot of photographs of people's friends as models (as I do too), but this photograph feels like you created it and directed it rather than took a snapshot. I also appreciate the crispness of each of your photographs

  8. The forth one is the best because the it's creative and hard to capture. And I have to say that the angles you took these photos were really interesting. I agree with others that in some of your photos, you need more contrast to make them better.

  9. Your photos were very intriguing to me. I think a couple of them could have been edited more, so that it would have made them a little more dynamic. The fourth photo is probably my favorite. Overall, you were successful with playing with asymmetry and lines. The seventh photo comes off a little flat to me and I don't really understand why it is included. Also, the second to last photo doesn't seem as sharp as the others and comes off a little grainy.

  10. All of these have really great composition that use shape and line and repetition to carry the eye. And the creativity in the 4th one is really cool!
