  1. I like the depth of your images - the darks are super rich yet there is a variety and it gives each image dynamic.

  2. I enjoyed your use of symmetry in some of your photographs. Your pictures are way more in focus than in past weeks. The shot of the old man smoking the cigar works really well in terms of composition because you used rule of thirds and the way you framed the photo, cropping the woman's head off is interesting and can bring a different meaning to the photo. I would have chosen a different angle to shoot the artist because I really couldn't tell at first what he was doing. Maybe if he was looking at the camera it could appear as if he is trying to draw or paint whoever is looking through the camera or whoever looks at this image.

  3. These photos are awesome! Your composition is right on, and the lighting creates really nice mood. The perspective on all of these makes me feel like I'm experiencing these scenes myself, instead of just viewing images of them. They remind me of film stills.

  4. You did well in composing the photos and the last one shows a mood by using light and darkness.

  5. i think you did a great job with symmetric, which is also my favorite technique while I shoot. also you are making progress with the intentions while you are shooting, I can see a lot going on in your photos especially the ones with people as your subject matters. but in some pictures (#2#3#7) there seems like too much going on in the pictures, the back ground is too busy which is distracting.

  6. The balance of contrast in your photos is excellent; however, these images just feel like a record of a trip you went on & not intentionally taken for a photo class. Your 9th image feels the most intentional because of the rule of thirds and the way the man is dressed and smoking a cigar, while looking at a well-dressed female. I think it could have been even stronger if her head was in the composition.

  7. I think your editing is great here! I do believe that you really thought about the compositions of your photos, but I agree with Jenna that they all don't feel that intentional. I really appreciate the way that you captures the lines of the buildings and the hallways; the use of line is very appealing. I see that you tried to use the rule of thirds and asymmetry in a few of your photos, but it could have also been cool to see you play around with your field of depth more.

  8. Wow! the first image is really cool. The location you chose to shoot at is very dynamic. I think the last photo isn't as strong as the others, and also a little bright.
