  1. I like how your photos take me as the viewer on a small walk around town. I would just focus on choosing a subject matter purposefully.

  2. The shot of the guy riding the bicycle is my favorite! I immediately thought it could be used in an advertisement. Most of your images have really strong subject matter and focal points, but there are a few where it is hard to tell what to focus on.

  3. I like the car photos, it makes me wonder why you're drawn to them. Were they an experiment in shutter speed or do you just really like cars? Either way, I would recommend you following that passion and shooting cars in new locations, finding a car show or just hunkering down in a parking lot and taking photos of interesting license plates that are compelling. You often don't notice how many cars come from different places and the novelty of different states' license plates could be an interesting series if shot correctly.

  4. Nice images! They feel like you're trying to show viewers the vibes of downtown Gainesville. Your car pictures are nice but I think a different shutter speed would make them more unique and engaging.

  5. As we stated in class, I wish your photos were a little more specific. I think taking a different perspective with some of your photos would have really made a stronger impact. I like how the photos of the cars are sharp and clean, but I agree with Jenna when she says that using a different shutter speed could have created some dynamic photos. Overall, I think you did a great job with telling a story with your photos and capturing everyday life.

  6. I like how several of your photos tell a story of some sort! They make me want to know more about the people in the photos; where are they going? what's on their mind? I would suggest not always having the focal point in the dead center of every photo. Sometimes you can make more interesting composition when they're off center; the man on the bike is a good example of this. Overall, very dynamic photos :)
