Davis you freaking rocked this week's assignment. The only motion that isn't super emphasized is panning. But your photos are of great quality and the setting and subject and prop you chose were extremely successful and artistic.
I like the pictures of the girl jumping into the water, water indeed is a great medium to demonstrate motion if you use it well. The balloon is also a both good and innovative choice to show motion and it make your pictures artistic.
I really enjoyed the aesthetic choices you made. You had a lot of success when it came to freezing motion and I liked the ones where some parts of the subject were blurred but others were not. The picture that I felt was the least successful was the 7th because it needed either more motion or none at all. Like Jenna said, panning wasn't emphasized as much as the others.
I love the shots where you used powder (i think?) and water to emphasize the motion. You did a great job of capturing the different forms of motion. I think the second shot with the balloon, although it is blurred motion, could be sharper.
Great job at capturing the different types of motion. Your subject matter is great and really creative. I agree with the previous comments, that you should have emphasized panning more. Im not really crazy about the photo of the ball, I think that the model could have been sharper and the ball blurred.
I LOVE how much variety is in your photos! Especially because they all look like they're from just one outing. You captured all the motions beautifully and in interesting ways!
I love your photos! The last one is impressive. The contrast between the powder and others was strong, which is good. But the girl's hair were so blende to the wall.
