Valentina, I really appreciate the variety of images and the perspective that you took with each. I feel like for each of these you really took the time to think about your composition. I really appreciate what you attempted to display with the image of the tree and the window, but I feel like the contrast of the tree is too strong against the softer contrast of the person's reflection. It's harder to see the person standing in the window. I also want to compliment you on the picture of the girl with the hair in front of her face. I love how you focused your image more on her face and was able to blur the hair. Overall, good job!
I love your exploration of texture and pattern! You did a really good job of showing different depths of field within this body of work. You don't have too many close up or far away images. I think a few of the shots could have a clearer focal point.
Valentina, you have a great eye for photography! My personal favorite is the last one where you have the fence stand out from the sunset. It's an incredibly dynamic image and the focus really stands out. I'd venture that it's even better than the color version because of how striking the contrast is. I look forward to seeing more of your work!
Your images are really interesting and carry a personal touch that I really love. They feel like intimate snapshots taken throughout your day, rather than let me just take 200 pictures of something to get it over with. The compositions aren't very balanced which makes them more intriguing.

ReplyDeleteReally love how all your images capture some type of emotion! Even the simple ones have emotion that you captured with the lighting.
