I had a photoshoot planned with one of the models that I wanted to work with for my final project, but she cancelled on me last minute and we rescheduled for this weekend. So although these do not pertain to my final project, I did take this time to look around my surrounding area for good places to take my photos for my final project, such as places that have a very Floridan feel for the background.

Some of these have really strong composition and framing, but others look a little too off balance like your second and third image. I'm also not sure if your idea for your story has changed, but these images do not seem to pertain to any story line or idea.
ReplyDeleteYou made great use of the time to take photos even though your model cancelled. The backgrounds in your photos will be key to getting your story across. I don't see how the architecture in the first photos you took really feel Floridian, but they're still great photos. I would continue to look for nature spots to shoot at, with plants that are native to Florida.
ReplyDeleteThe last three photos are the most florida of the bunch, but all except the last come off a little unclear. I second Jenna and Catherine.
ReplyDeleteI don't really get Florida from your first 3 but the others do. Some are stronger than others but the concept is still there.
ReplyDelete(I have to say I was disappointed when I saw your photos cause I really expected to see some beautiful guy models lol) I think your photos this week are really stunning with the natural strong contrast and the interesting compositions. The ninth photo is my favorite cause I like everything that are creative and inspiring. i've never seen photos of leaves composed like this one and it definitely inspired me on how to compose my photos.
ReplyDeleteThat 5th photo is a crushed can under water right? To be honest I'm really digging it, I think there could be some potential in exploring photographing garbage in the environment but in a way that makes it look pretty. Overall, I think you did good of finding other ways to explore your theme after having to reschedule.
